By the time we wrapped up our tour of Notre Dame, the sky was a bit dark, so we decided it would be good to begin our journey back to the apartment. But first we wanted to stop at les Jardins des Tuileries because we saw a poster at a metro station advertising a carnival there.
Unfortunately we were greeted by a terrible rainstorm as soon as we emerged from the metro station at Tuileries. So we quickly ran into the carnival site and tried to find a tent to hide under. Fortunately, the tent was a food tent, and we couldn't resist ordering a Nutella crêpe while the rain poured around us.
Nutella crêpes are perhaps the perfect food. The hot and gooey chocolate hazelnut spread inside a warm wheat flour wrap is heavenly. And when it's chilly and raining, there's no better snack than a Nutella crêpe.
