We got something AWESOME in this week's CSA pickup from Colvin Family Farm: GINGER! I love the kick that ginger adds to dishes. It's spicy, juicy, has a citrusy undertone, and it's a must-have ingredient when I make Asian dishes. I know it'll go great with everything else in this week's share, too. So here's the full list:

  • Basil
  • Bell peppers
  • Yellow squash
  • Pattypan squash
  • Jalapenos
  • A habanero
  • Green beans
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Bok choy

I'm obviously going to use the ginger with the bok choy dish I make later this week, but I want to try it with sweet potatoes. I think it'll taste great together. 

Ahhh, ginger. I'm so excited to cook with it this week!
