Yeah, I'm late with my CSA post again. But I was on the road last weekend. Big surprise, right? AND it was finals week for the very last class of my program. Which I aced, by the way. (The University of California says I'm a certified investor relations professional now. Yay!) I spent most of my time studying, and that's a decent excuse, don't you think?
So even though we're really into Week 14 of the CSA season, here's what I got in the box last week:
- Green chile peppers
- Green beans galore!
- Bell peppers (white and purple)
- Three types of squash
I used the green beans and basil to make a quick and easy green bean salad. The recipe is coming soon, so stay tuned!
