It's the second week of CSA season, and we're getting into summer squash! Here's what I took home from the Colvin Family Farm this week:

  • Broccoli
  • Cucumber
  • Garlic
  • Kale
  • Kohlrabi
  • Lettuce 
  • Radishes
  • Snap peas
  • Yellow squash

I saw a recipe for tamari tofu and broccoli that I'm going to have to try. I think I may need to make kohlrabi hash as well, or kohlrabi chips. Kohlrabi hash is the perfect brunch item, especially when topped with a fried egg and served with crispy bacon! As for the summer squash, I love making veggie and potato tortes. It's so easy to do, and if I make one big enough, it'll be perfect to pack for lunch. (No more sad desk lunch!)
