After our Seine cruise, we walked from Pont de l'Alma to the Eiffel Tower just in time to catch it as it lit up for the evening. We navigated through the crowds gathered at the base, waiting for rides to the top. And as we walked beneath it, the sky got darker, which made the Eiffel Tower lights seem even brighter. We decided to cross the street and sit at fountains at the Jardins du Trocadéro, which is the perfect place to view the dancing lights of the Eiffel Tower. On the way over, I discovered the best homemade chocolate ice cream at a crêpe stand, which made watching the twinkling lights even more enjoyable.
